Wood working / honey bees question?

Bees are about resources. Being able to steal a frame of bees from one colony to give to another is probably THE most important key to keeping them alive and healthy.

Having said that, all my equipment will be transitioned to 8 frame medium equipment. It’s easier on the back, and the bees seem to utilize 8 frame better than 10. Further, each colony will have a quilt and roof similar to a warre hive.

That line you said that the bees can utilize smaller equipment better is the basis for how the guy that made the Rose Hive system also came up with his design.

Its interesting that you said that. Although I think you have much more experience than I do.

Its fun to talk about bees with people too! Thanks a bunch.

The warre hive tops look very nice.
