Hi im from woodbridge nj.I read on the township land use ordinance that you can keep chickens if you get a permit. Its 10.00 and revokable at the discretion of the township. It looks like they need to come out to my house and deem the land suitable.Im hoping i dont need to have eveyything ready.I would hate to pay 300 for supplies and coop to only be turned down.Does anyone else have any advice or has tried to do this here before?

Did you call the zoning board? I'm starting to try to get the laws in my township changed to allow back yard chickens and it all goes through my zoning board.
