Thanks to everyone for the great advice!!

Just a follow up on the puny hen. She is eating and drinking well after 3 days in the "hospital". I did as suggested by coach723 with the wire cage re-introduction. In 2 hours I felt it safe to let her out and the flock acted as if she was never gone! Thanks again!

All good points! Thanks for reminding me about goats! It been some years since I had them and wanted to consolidate my animals. May need to re-think housing for them.

Another thing about goats and chickens...goats can gorge, sometimes fatally, on chicken feed. So keeping them under the same roof might be fine, but they need to be securely separated.
