Woodies, Mandarins, Pintails & BEI's - winter set-up?

Quote:
My coop is over 100ft from the nearest water source. In nicer weather I have a REAALLLLYYY long hose to fill their pool but, now that it gets below freezing, the hose is done and I have to carry buckets. No pool. They will have a cement mixing tub and a big flexible rubber bowl in the winter. They will have water, twice a day if it freezes. I also have a plastic dog house bedded with loads of fresh straw. No wind either. The entire enclosure is covered in plastic and roofed with tin to keep out drafts and snow. They are wild ducks : Wood Ducks, American Pintails & Mandarins-also a pair of East Indies.
