Checked the search engine -- amazing resource! But can't find specifics about Woodland Hills and Burbank. Anyone know what the regulations are there? Need to know:

How many/what ages
How large a coop allowed/ if there are placement laws (ie a certain distance from my house/ property line/ others' houses.

Thank you so much for your help!

Cheers,
Ali

I sold 3 of my pet hens to a lady in Burbank last year, but before I did, I checked if it was okay to keep chickens there. Yup. Less than 25 and no roosters. I didn't see specifics in the code that clearly outlined the distance to dwellings or neighbors. You will have to dig a little deeper for that. I found the animal code here: http://www.ci.burbank.ca.us and searched under "fowl"

I think Woodland Hills is part of the city of Los Angeles, so go by their code: https://www.backyardchickens.com/laws/display.php?State=CA&City=Los+Angeles&actions=search

Maybe
call animal control to find out more.
