Not really. Haven’t added it up. I salvaged all lumber from others. That helped a lot. Spent 10 bucks on the windows. Too much money on paint and siding. Once you start you just push to the finish.

The barn look was essential for my wife. Color was slightly brighter than we expected but we like it.

I'm designing a woods coop in my mind right now. As soon as the grading is done, I start building. Trying to determine siding (T1-11, Smartside paneling, Textured Redwood Grain Fiber Panel Siding?; metal has been eliminated). Roofing will be metal. Anyone have recommendations for siding?

Sounds like a good idea, but I'm kind of lazy. I was hoping the OP would mention what he used and the process he went through to decide and maybe shed some light on some other choices (hint hint).
