Woods coop enclosed run help

I have a 10' by 16' Woods built per the Woods KD diagrams using rough cut 2" by 3" pine for the frame boards and 1" by 6" pine boards with 1/2" by 2" battens. I have access to local millers managed to get all the materials for less than $1,000 CDN. MUCH easier/cheaper than doing conventional stick frame with 4' by 8' sheets. If you have access to a miller well worth checking out as an option. I built mine as a kit with the panels shown in Woods book, assembled with a second set of hands. The only issue were the two 10' foot back side panels that I needed the tractor loader to lift 3' off the ground.

Putting a run off the front WILL NOT impact the "air cushion" aspect that is the Woods and minimal impact on internal light given that the monitor is what allows light/sun into the back portion (assumes glass). I would not do this, rather agree with a run off the side opposite the person door; tracking through the run to gain access to the coop will be awkward AND will bring more crap into the coop.

I raised my coop off the ground 3' and enclosed underneath to add run space, works extremely well and is very economical on hardware cloth as well. I agree with @Howard E in post #3 above - the open air Woods IS a run and my 15 birds love it, spend the majority of their time inside during the winter with minimal outings. Elevating the coop eliminates the need for a separate run although one still needs to respect the recommended per bird space.

For windows I went with sliders on the sides, managed to find old windows with the double panes, tempered glass 1/4" thick, no frames, cost $0. Scrounged the monitors from a friend, old single panes. A little searching on Kijiji or a Re-store will turn up something within a month I would bet.

I have both a pictorial (see "My Coop") and a long build thread linked in that Article herein.
