Cleo is my Easter Egger
Don't know who, but I also got a white egg too!!
And two tan eggs from Myrtle (Partridge Rock) .

What a surprise! And I didn't even look yesterday cuz I was in a hurry!!

Thats GREAT!!! I wish mine would start laying regularly. I get one every once in a while...and there are 23 hens in there that SHOULD be laying soon. Come on ladies....LAY!!!!!

I showed the eggs to my DH when he got home, and we did the chicken dance!!!!

After we finished making fools of ourselves in front of the dogs and cats, he got down to serious calculations (not).
With today's collection, we have now our first 11 eggs.
If we get one more tomorrow, that will make our first dozen.
At about $4376 (the coop, improvements, etc, etc)...after that, they're free!!!!

I can't wait for mine to start laying! Mine will be 18 weeks old in about 5 weeks, so I hope they start laying sooner rather than later in the whole 18-25 week period.

Does anyone have experience with Silver Laced Wyondottes, Light Brahmas, and Buff Orpingtons and at what age they start laying???

Congrats on the eggs!

(And I thought we were the only ones seriously in the hole with chickens LOL - We spent a small fortune also getting things properly fixed.)
