Last week my order of chicks was suppose to come but they called and said they didn't have enough hatch so were to be sent out today. I called the hatchery to see if they did in fact get sent out and she said yes. Woohoo!
Called the post office and told her I was expecting chicks in the morning. After I get through tomorrow, my guineas
should be here wednesday. I know I am the first order to fill on the guineas because I asked for the first available day for shipping that I was the first. So as long as 20 hatch, I should be good to go.
My babies are coming home
25 Isa browns, 25 Rhode Island Reds, 25 Barred rock, and 25 Buff Orpington.
I had to leave when I found out the chicks were definitely on their way. If I stayed home I would drive myself nuts waiting with anticipation so we went to my in laws for a few hours. This waiting is definitely the hardest part. lol
Do you open the box at the Post office when you go to pick them up?
