WooHoo! I'm officially a quail owner!

Well I just picked up my first 5 cotournix quail (the only ones they had left) and I cant wait to get more! Im positive that 2 are males and two are females, the other one is a mystery yet. As soon as I put them in their new pen, the golden male puffed up and let out a crow. I think he approves.

Me too! I hatched my first quails ever a few days ago. They are so tiny! I've lost a few but now I have 18 left.

I went ahead and clipped their wings today. I was afraid they were going to hurt themselves the way they were flying into the roof when they would get startled.
