WOOOHOOO!!!! New "Most People Online Right Now" Record!!!!!!

Hey Mahonri, I have a dentist ? for you: what does it mean when upper teeth (one on each side) are sensitive to hot, but nothing else except sometimes a certain level of pressure?
I can eat ice like a fiend, hard candy no problem to bite on it, but sometimes I can bite a piece of bread just right and it sends an ice pick up through the top of my head...

Yeah its decayed alot. no swelling but hurts to bite on it. Spoon, yeah thatd hurt

So dude, in order to save it you need a root canal and a crown. $$$

You will also need antibiotics.

Do you have a current dentitst?

Call and leave a message on their answering machine NOW... give them your number to call first thing in the morning.

Ibuprophen and natural antibiotic is the best you can do at this point.

Take up to 800mg of Ibuprophen... if you have some garlic, use a little of that.

Dental infections left unchecked can cause major problems.

Don't chew on that side. Brush around it tenderly.... rinse around it with warm salt water and peroixide. Keep the area as clean as possible.

Sometimes teeth are decayed beyond repair... if that's the case, you'll probably have to have it removed and then have a bridge or partial placed to replace it.

Thanks I think Im just gonna get them to pull it. My dentist cant pull it because Im on blood thinners. My heart Dr. gave me the number to an oral surgeon. Im calling him first thing in the morning.

Go see your dentist. Sounds like tooth brush abrasion.

If you are still on the blood thinners, the Oral Surgeon will not pull it. He'll make you go off of the blood thinners for at least 3 or 4 days. Get on some antibiotics toot-sweet.

Thats the problem. I had a stent put in because of a heart attack in September, and my Heart Dr. says there isnt anyway I can go off my blood thinners.
