Woopeeeeee my first eggs

Wow, I was in tears, isent it so exciting when you get a first egg? not only did I get one but three. I have blown one as I want to keep it and paint it. Clever girls. I have had my girls now for 10 days, they are in a cosy coop with a 20ft x 5ft foxproof run and when I get home from work they come out for a wonder before bedtime and on a weekend I shall be letting them wonder. I think they are happy & healthy and I am looking forward to our long prosperous experiance together.

I wanted to blow my first one so I could keep the shell but I also wanted a picture of the nicely formed egg yolk.
Who would have thought we'd get so excited over getting an egg....or three!
