Woot! Suedenator babies are coming....Woot!

I finally have a hormonal wench that has gone over the edge.

A BROODY! So....as I type Suedenator eggs are zooming their way to me. hehehehehe

I cannot take any chances with these precious eggs so I just called and ordered a Genesis 1588 and egg turner, which is also zooming its way to me.

I am gonna have Suede babies....I am gonna have Suede babies

One way or the other! If Miss Broody gets off that nest

and in the incubator they will go!

For those who do not know what a big very deal this is...ahem I

this big blue boy this is the Suedenator, in the feather

and in beads...his body is completely done now and I am finishing the grasses and leaves.

I'm very excited for us both, Ladyhawk! Silly broody waited till the heat of summer to give you your very first psycho-chicken, but this is what we have and we're going to work with it! Now, for the pkg to get there intact.

Hehehe yup. I had a nightmare this morning that one of my roomies cats jumped up on the counter and knocked the resting eggs off. I jumped up yelling "NO You did not!" I was so upset I told hubby that I wanted the cats gone until the eggs were safely under the broody or in the incubator...he laughed at me until I told the roomie to board them until the eggs were safe.

they think i have lost my mind but they will know lost mind if something happens to those eggs.

Thank you. He is almost done as far as that beading is concerned but still work to do before the project is finished. but not much longer now.

congrats of a broody finally. I just had a 5 year old white Cochin hen go broody too, why do they wait for the heat?
