Woriming Pigeons?

Hi, I am new to Pigeons, I used to have them as a Kid ( 20 years ago ) in the city but now I am older up and live on a farm and have gotten back into them.I was wondering if you guys worm your birds, if so how? What kind? How often and all the other info you have would be great. Thanks

Ivomectin injectable cattle wormer, 1% tincture. Three or four drops down the hatch and repeat in 21 days. Safe and very effective.

How often? Do you rotate? I have the Ivomectin Pour on type, Safe Guard Pellets, Paste and Liquid along with Wazzine.

I don't have experience with any of those. I worm twice a year, 4 would probably be better. I am probably going to have to start alternating, not sure yet what I'm going to use that I like as much as ivomectin.
I'm starting to question worming entirely. Considering I just learned that the wormer just relaxes the grip of the worm so that it passes through and then it can be picked right back up. So I would need to have them on wormer every 21 days I guess. Expensive to say the least!

ive heard wazine 17, and diotomacious earth are supposed to be good, but not tried either yet, and looking for more feedback on the diatomacious earth, as heard it can be used as grit and calcium supplement also.
