The coop is beautiful and so is your little inspector. But please tell your BF to read the forums on predators and replace chicken wire with small mesh hardware cloth securely affixed to the wood. You don't want to tell him "I told you so." after you wake up to carnage from raccoons, fox etc.I don't think he needs the burden of that guilt. Chicken wire ONLY keeps in Chickens. It doesn't keep out anything.
