World of Warcraft MOON GAURD

I love that too! If they really have a question about it generally my daughter is on, and I laugh about it to her, and she writes them. Not that believe her all the time, but....we have fun with it.

MMORPG's are full of that yes im a girl gamer but please nock off with the are you hot or any other male sexist comments.whats even more funny is you tell em your a woman and they dont belive you ahahahaha.

yeah my son-in-law was playing with his Uber guild and somebody said to him on vent hey there's a hunter here in stormwind named purr and pet's name is fection.
And he said that's my mother in law and they were like "NO WAY" and my daughter was in the background , yelling that's my mom.
Then he whispered me to let me know they all thought I was awesome for playing when I'm so old .

Asses I'm not that old

When I was playing Galaxies after it first came out and maybe even in the early days of WoW, I would often get asked if I was a real girl.

Apparently, there were a lot of guys playing female toons and very few women playing. Some wanted to stare at a female form and some were exploring their feminine side. Now I think there are a lot of women playing and a lot of couples that play.

I enjoyed Galaxies, because it was more of a virtual world in the early days, before they changed it. The way the characters moved was very natural. The way things moved in the game looked real. I had a house on the river, near my husband's work shop. It was a very social game for me, since I was a master ranger. I made camps and people would stop to rest/heal and chat or even to go afk in safety. I remember my husband buying me a red dress in game for a valentine's day date. We went to the cantina that was in the first Star Wars movie to listen to the music from the movie and dance, just for fun. How nerdy is that???

After they changed everything but the name in that game, we went to WoW. It is cartoony, but I enjoy the color and the different look of all the zones. What I like about WoW is all the variety of activities and playing style you have to choose from. It is like several different games all rolled into one. You can pvp or pve. You can quest or just grind. You can level faster or just wander around exploring. You can play solo, duo with a friend or your sweetie, or play in a larger group. You can join a guild or not. You can make friends or not. Chat or not. You can go to instances/dungeons or even on great big raids. You can fight in multiple different ways or mainly be a healer. There is a fishing tournament every Sunday afternoon.

You can cook and/or craft in your choice of a bunch of different professions. You can spend time doing business and making money at the auction house. You can have pets, including regular and mechanical chickens!

Sometimes, I go on vacation in game. I go to a beach with beautiful clean sand, aqua water and fish, as the turtles wander by, leaving footprints in the sand... I also used to ride my big white tiger along the beach, when I was a NE. Ahhh...

So for people who wonder what it's like, that's what it's like!

wow , if I didn't already play you would have just convinced me to give it a try.
you described it perfectly. I am an artist and sometimes I just take a flight to look at the pretty colors in the zone. And when I'm in a bad mood I go to darshire.

How could I have forgotten to mention the views as you are flying??? Shame on me!

Purr, you are only old to children. One of the amusements of middle age, is to have seniors refer to you as "You kids" even when you are not their kids.

My husband also plays EVE, a virtual world in space. All of these games have adults of all ages playing them. I think 80 was the oldest I've known of. When people have health problems or disabilities that make them less able to get out in the world, a virtual world and all the real people that play in it can be a really positive thing.

I have given up on the outdoors until the mosquito population decreases. Maybe after the 30 acres of fields that're flooded a 1/4 mile from my wooded property dries up.

I think a BYC guild where we all have pet chickens would be very funny!

Actually woodlandwoman,
I started playing because I was ill and it would take my mind off my troubles. Now that I'm better I'm addicted. But since the chickens and this forum I havn't been playing as much. Way too much to get done outside.
We should all get together and reroll and start a chicken guild.pick a server I'm in.Bored with my 70 anyway all I do is grind rep and I have a ton of gold so farming not necessary.
