Do you happen to know the photographer's name or site? I love the pictures and would love to see more! Thanks for the info!

Yann Arthus-Bertrand

I find SO many websites taking his stuff, honestly. Because it's good stuff. I don't know if it is actually copyrighted though.

It mentions in the description: "Internationally registered and shown, Italian born Chianina bull. Imported into the USA in 2006. He has sired more than 250 calves in the US, 30 of which are on the International PGCH TPB Italian/American listing."

The pics could have been from four years ago in Italy. Those pics probably show him to his best advantage, and so they decided to use them. He's at least nine years old now (More than 450 form titles, evaluation/herdbook titles, ribbons, trophies and PGCH TPB points combined in his 9 year history), and probably not looking quite so handsome. Average fertile lifespan for a bull is 6-8 years for a 2200# Angus bull. The first thing to give out on a bull is his feet. A nine year old 3595# bull isn't in the prime of life.

It could very well be a scam, but I don't think so.

OK, there is something seriously wrong, with tying a red bow around the head of the world's largest bull.

Wow he is handsome. And by the way cowgirl71 that calf in your avatar is just flat out adorable. What a beauty.

I suppose I need to go to TN to see some cattle?

OK, I get it you are joking.

That said, you'd only want to use his semen with extra large cows, or they'd never be able to birth the calves.
You'd also only want to artificially inseminate as he could ruin a cow with that weight.

I've seen some big Charolais bulls but that dude is very the most large bull I've seen... unless that man is tiny.
