Worlds smallest egg

It is an interesting video. But your security fence/open run could be maneuvered by a flying predator. There is a possibility , scenario, flying attacker kills bird in the run, flies out lands de-feathers and moves more because of a aggravated red lead hen. Then takes kill farther away and gets attacked/ spooked flies off and hen is dead. Lead bird attacks banty because it looks like a predator/intruder. Some hens will be the protector like some roos. I have heard of that recently from a friend. He had a hen attack a dog because it was chasing the flock. But that is a scenario of the possible attack but again I am just looking and deducting.

I would suspect a hawk first, but the fact that 5-6 people were weed-whacking 10 feet away... - just not sure a hawk would try to pull that off. Oh well. Gonna have to get some more chickens I guess.

I had one that size two weeks ago ( well I should say that one of my chickens laid one that size - not me personally) and I was so excited I kept it and was showing it to friends as it was so unique - well, finally I was cooking a goose egg and decided to break it into the same pan and take a photograph - arrrggghhhhh!!!! no yolk!!! No picture as it was a blob of egg white - ah well - maybe next time!

Whatever that was attacking your chooks, hopefully you can find it and remove it soon. That way you do not have to keep replenishing that predators food source. But hope things better.

I have a Ohiki hen that lays eggs that small every time she lays but she is very small for the breed also. Here is a pic of the egg next to a right size Ohiki egg.
