Well interesting, I just did some reading and I did not know those red worms can not be realesed into your yard or vegy garden.... They are distructive in that setting, so you have to use this soil for house plants? I think I'd rather have earthworms then, but they say they do not work as well.

Red worms are top feeders, the live and eat in the top 6-8 inches of soil. so I wonder if that article was worried about disturbing root mass within this range?
