Worm in my egg!

I don't have much info on worms but maybe you can just do a normal dewormer and see if you find it again

I haven't seen a roundworm that had a bulge on the end like that. Those are pointy on both ends. I can't really tell what it is. Almost looks like a lining or something.

If you do have worms i would put apple cider vinegar in your flocks water to deworm your chickens and also helps keep them healthy

Yikes that’s gross. I have never seen a worm in an egg before. Maybe it was a malformed part of the egg?

ACV won't deworm chickens, it just acidifies the gut slightly to make it a little unfavorable for worms. If that is a worm, try using Safeguard goat wormer at a smaller dose for chickens- I believe @casportpony is the queen of dosage charts!

It was very tough material - not squishy like I’d expect a membrane to be.
