Our hen June, whom has been on bed rest inside our home since being attacked by a dog laid her first egg since we've had her inside. When we went to use the egg, it has what appears to be a worm in it. It is white in color, it's 1 to 1 1/4 inches long. It has the consistancy of a worm. Does anyone know what this is or has it happened to anyone else?

Does this mean that she has hook worms?
