Worm Killer

Dave,

Thanks for the information! In theory, I was educated as a Chemical Engineer....and the more you learn and know the more freaked out you get (or maybe that's just me).

Would it be unsafe to use it on chicks? I haven't gotten them yet, but will in the next month. Also am curious to know if you used/use medicated feed for your chicks.

Thanks for your help!

You are more than welcome.

There is always something new to learn. Look at CUDA, he only just learned to speak and type! lol
No. In truth it is freaky the knowledge that man posses, and what's even freakier is the fact that no matter who you are or what you know there is always something new to learn!

It would be perfectly safe to use on newly hatched chicks although I can't see the need. It certainly wouldn't hurt a bit as long as it's no more than 2% by weight.

In the past I have used medicated feeds. My customers even request it at times which is fine with me. As a custom breeder and grower I often have feed requests that are stranger by far and we are always happy to accommodate. I do not use medicated feed on my farm as a standard practice. To be honest I don't believe in all the chemicals out there. Most things can be solved by nature herself. We must remember that where ever nature provides a poison or affliction she also provides a cure with few exceptions.

I hope this helps,
Dave

I think that's very true... I never ever ever want a major surgery or a biomedical implant... even though technology has advanced so far... Training as a bioengineer here...
