worm-looking-thing near ear!!!

My red sex link hen has this worm-looking-thing hanging near her ear! It just flops around and doesn't seem to be causing her any distress. She acts completely normal.

I haven't tried.... It kinda grosses me out.

Yeah it is very gross but sometimes u got to do what u got to do. If she is in pain when u mess with it just leave it. I don't have any other suggestions on treatment.

It is still hanging, but the end looks dried up like a raisin. She still acts fine and lays.
