Worm prevention help!

What is the best way to rid of worms! I'm only looking for prevention. I'm also looking for the most natural way, organic way? Anyone have some suggestions?

Once I have new birds wormed and introduced into the flock, I use DE in the feed. Nothing else for worms and when selling a bird I have it tested for worms by my vet for the buyer. No worms have been found. All my chickens are free ranged on my property and may even go visiting my neighbors if they see a bug or flower that they like.

Can you eat the eggs? and how often do you use it?

I eat the eggs as does all my family and friends. I mix in and the feed together in the feed bins and they eat some everyday. Haven't had it affect any of them in any other way than good. I also spread it around where they dust in the dirt, kills any bugs on the outside also. But it MUST BE FOOD GRADE.
