Worm question please help!

Will a hen eat a worm directly from her rear? I feel sick as I post this. I try so hard to take care of my hens.

I saw her turn her head and pluck something from her butt and eat it. It was about 2.5 inches slick and white. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t have a photo.

Yes, Arkansas. I will get some tomorrow. Will it get rid of them totally? I read they discontinued that one drug.

Also have you heard of a hen doing that? Ugh. She’s trying to go broody as well.

Yes, a chicken will eat excreted worms. Safeguard will eliminate all types of poultry worms except tapeworms.
Treat all your birds with the Safeguard. If one has them, mostly likely others have them as well.
 
It is not discontinued.
Treat them all like Dawg said.
