Hi all. I’ve just finished 5-days on Safe Guard AquaSol (my chickens, not me). I’ve read that with other wormers, you should treat again 7-10 days later. Does anyone know if this is the same with AquaSol? Thank you!

Aquasol only treats round worms in chickens. They can pick up roundworm eggs again at any time after the 5 day treatment of Aquasol. No wormer protects them from getting worms in the future. For control of most chicken worms including capillary and gapeworms, I would use SafeGuard liquid goat wormer 1/4 ml per pound for 5 consecutive day or Valbazen 1/2 ml given orally once and again in 10 days. Aquasol is water soluble and can be put in the water, and costs a fortune. The other 2 are much more affordable, but are not put into the water.
