Hi! Long time no see!
The hens are starting to slow their egg production for the winter and so I figured this would be a good time to worm everyone since I’ve noticed some wormy poop recently. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don’t care if there’s an egg withdrawal period so long as it works and the birds can be worm free.

I’m in the U.S. Some of the hens have started to molt. Yes I saw worms in poop but couldn’t identify what they were.

If they are starting to molt, then use Valbazen (Albendazole).

Dose is 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days. This will treat most worms that poultry can have except for Tapeworms.

You'll likely need to buy Valbazen online, here's one place, but you can probably get it from most supply houses.

Here's how to give meds orally.
