Oh my heavens, I’m struggling getting these birds to take this medicine by mouth. Any water solution I can do?
I found this product for pigs, anyone used it for chickens?

Great info and yes I’d seen that article. I have s few birds that really don’t like being touched and a couple are my larger hens that need bigger doses. Which in turn means I’m covered in wormer. Ugh!

I understand your frustration because I have many wild ones that require 2-3 ml each.

Will yours eat a mash? If they will eat a mash you can put the wormer in water, then use that water to make a mash. The problem with the 1.8% swine wormer is that you would have to use lots of it.

My birds love mashes. I’m assuming if I use it as a mash I couldn’t control the dosage per bird, correct?

You can't really control the per bird dose, but if you put out what they would normally eat in a day you would probably get an effective dose in most.

Formula is:
Weight of flock in pounds, divide by 2.2, times 50, divide by 100 = number of ml for your mash.
