worming info

    i have a flock of 11 game chickens that have never been wormed if i use wazine what is the best way to give it to them and how much do i give them.

    Wazine is given in their water, the mixing instructions will be on the bottle. Be aware that it only treats roundworms, so if your chickens have picked up any other kind of worm it won't take care of it. You'd be better off using Valbazen or Safeguard. Valbazen is especially good for birds who have never been dewormed because it doesn't cause of big die-off of worms all at once, it works slowly over a few days. That avoids the possibility of blockages or dead worm toxicity in the birds in case they are carrying a heavy load of worms.

    and how does the valbazen work do you inject it put it in water??

    Use a syringe without a needle and administer it orally undiluted. Dosage is 1/2cc for standard size birds, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Repeat dosing in 10 days.
