worming laying hens

I have never wormed my 30 hens for I heard was not suppose too. Though I been reading where ones was told the sickness of a chicken could be worms. I have had them for 8 years, still laying. I cannot turn them out right now for the sheep or having lambs and the smell of blood attracts them. They killed one lamb one year and the ewe was fighting them off the 2nd lamb when I came upon them. If I wormed them and what do I worm them with, how long before the eggs could be eaten? Thanks

I recommend Valbazen cattle/sheep wormer. Administer using a syringe without a needle. Dosage is 1/2cc given orally undiluted to standard size chickens, 1/4cc for smaller chickens. Redose again in 10 days. There's a 14 day withdrawal period after the last dosing.

Thanks! I noticed some sorta droopy but figured they were getting old but they may be just wormy.
