worming question

    i posted this before but no reply.. i did wazine and time for ivermectin.. i bought ivomec pour on.. it says on the box contains 5 mg ivermecting/mL. did i get the right strength? is that the 5% kind that is needed?

    Yes-I just used last week. I have 12 chickens all ranging in weight from 5 - 7lbs. I measured out about 7 drops for each one which came out to .2ml on a needless syringe. Just make sure to spread out the feathers on the back of the neck or lower neck area so you see the skin and drop on. Be careful it doesn't wick into the feathers and then repeat in 7 days for the eggs of the worms..
