I have 2 flocks, 1 has 4 hens/pullets and 1 roo 5mnths old, the other 6 chicks 8 weeks of undetermined sex. My young ones drink from a single water source and are in an enclosed run until they can join the older flock. My older flock is free-ranged all day and have 1 controlled water source (a waterer) and 2 uncontroled (a pipe running from our geo-thermal condenser that provides fresh running water into a bowl and a run-off culvert). For the most part my older flock drinks from the bowl. the water is always running so it's cooler.
My questions are:

1. When should I worm my flock? Is it something that we should do on a regular basis? (I have not seen any worm evidence although I have some concern about my hens combs who have just started laying, they look a little pale)

2. Do I worm all at the same time?

3. How can I worm my older flock when they drink very little from their waterer?

4. Will it effect the eggs or their laying? They just started :)
