worming - scrambled egg and garlic

Can anyone advise? I've had my girls for only 4 days so am a complete novice but they are GREAT!!! Anyway, I've been told that scrambled eggs mixed with chopped garlic is a natural wormer? Is this true - sounds like a wind-up but the lady who told me is def. not winding me up. Sounds wierd feeding eggs to chickens?

Not sure about that, but when they start laying eggs the garlic may affect the taste of the eggs. Just a thought.
On the subject of feeding eggs to chickens...lots of people do it and believe it or not the chickens absolutely love them! I hard boiled an egg for my chicks (and they're uber picky) and they gobble it up like crazy.
