Hello again,

Spamming this forum today, sorry.

Just wondering about wormers. Ive only had my chickens just over a week and I plan to get one more tomorrow, then its worming and lice and mite powder time! Except Ive no wormer.. So, what do you all use and would say is the best? I want something that deals with everything, I don't mind how I have to administer it and I read on line that some wormers effect the eggs so that you cant eat them? That doesn't really bother me either, but if I could avoid it, that would be excellent. Whatever it is has to be suitable on five 10 week old chicks and my older birds which are POL, just over POL and 2 are just over a year.

Any advice would be awesome! An if anyone can think of something I need to do for them, I'd appreciate that too :)

Thanks in advance!

Since you are in England, you need to use flubenvet. I dont know the dosages. I believe there isnt a withdrawal period neither.

Thank you so much for replying! :D That's really helpful to know, I will get onto buying some of that straight away. And no withdrawal either, yay!

I don't have much to add, but listen to Dawg53, he's by far the most knowledgeable on this forum in regards to meds and your chickens. Enjoy your new chicks and your flock, what a nice age span you have! I'm still not getting eggs (mine are 15 weeks today!).

Thanks for the nice compliment. Trust me, there are others that know far more than I do.
