Worms coming out hen's backside UPDATE

Does it have a smell? (not poop smell) If so, it could very well be necrotic tissue. Necrosis can be extremely dangerous and can be a sign of anaerobic bacterial infection. I've always learned to remove all necrotic tissue, as it will affect the other tissue around it. Is that possible to do?
 
There really isn't much smell but it seems like all the dark tissue must be necrotic. What else could it be? I have no idea how to remove necrotic tissue and am afraid that would be over my head. Do you have any suggestions or directions?
