worms, DE, and non-medicated food question

If I am NOT feeding my chicks medicated food should I NOT be doing the deep litter method? Becaues they say if you are not using medicatd feed you need to be extra sanitary in their first months...so they dont pick anything up.

If you go ahead with the Coccidiosis vaccination, don't feed Medicated Chick Starter, go with plain Starter.And yes your right in keeping it clean.
they will grow an immunity as they get older if they would get it they probley would come down by 6 to 8 weeks
