Worms for treat

I am thinking about raising red/ pink worms and night crawlers for chicken feed, would love to hear your experiences.

Hi!
Everyday in the afternoon when I go to let my chickens ot of there run to free range I grab a shovel.....and start digging! Then chickens love the worms I dig up, some even jump on the shovel while I'm digging. They get really sick of it after a while though, but once they forget about worms introduce the chickens to them again!

In the past, I used to keep pieces of old wood on the ground and flip them right after a rain to get the worms underneath. The chickens loved them.
