Worms from grasshoppers

Too much deworming action.

I've definitely pulled apart a grasshopper to feed to a baby bird and found its entire insides to be occupied by a curled up roundworm. Disgusting. This was not a one time occurance, either. Not sure how the little things were even alive with that massive worm inside of them.

My birds free range all day long on 20 acres, and I have a mixed flock of bantams and larger standards so I'm not sure an average weight would work for that

Yes, I know exactly which one it is. I'm glad I cages her though when I did because I never would have thought she was wormy. She doesn't eat like she has worms
