Worms in poop - Gross PIC

All my feed store had was Wazine so I put a few drops in the water for my 2 birds. The next morning their poo was full of dead worms. Hopefully, they're all gone. We cleaned the coop, but there's no way to keep it clean all of the time. Also, its in the woods so anything could fall in an infect them. Hopefully, they're feeling better!

I of course think the reason those worms came out in such numbers was from the DE in the first place.

You may choose to use a wormer....but I would say to continue to use DE in their feed (5+% by weight). Don't want those nasty things to come back!

DE might prevent worms from developing in a healthy bird, but it will not de worm a chicken that is already infected.

Contains exo-skeletonsof diatoms. Can be used safely around birds but ingestion should be avoided.

...not saying the food grade DE is poisonous and the miniscule amounts used in preserving grains and such are absolutely not a problem but it will not help in treating your worm problem and it can sometimes can cause problems.

Thats roundworms.....Ive had worms with some of my new chickens I bought....Go get some Wazine and worm them with that. Worked for mine. You should be able to get it at a feed store or TSC.
