Worms (or caterpillars) and webs in the trees are terrible this year!

Last year was terrible for fall webworms around here. I used to cut and burn, but last year sprayed Sevin heavily on each nest instead. This year the infested branches from last year leafed out fine and now we have less than 1/2 the nests as last year.

I just hate those things.....they really make a tree look just awful. I doubt that I can get every tree sprayed.......There are so many where the entire tree from top to bottom is just covered.

egh we always snipped off the branch and then burnt it. makes funny popping and hissing noises but thery sure are dead.

baby, that's what we do normally, but this year we'd half to cut down the whole tree! ARG
