Worms passed to humans in the eggs??

If DE doesn't work once it's wet, why would it work once swallowed?

I am not sure, some say it does work when wet.
I know that the organic layer pellets that I buy have DE in them, its listed on the bag as an ingredient.
After the subject was brought up I took out a handful of DE out of a bag that I have and wet it.
It did not dissolve and I kept rubbing it around in my hands, it was still grainy and hard.
I am not sure why it is supposedly renedered ineffective when wet, maybe its not. It definitely does not dissolve.
I guess to each his own, see what works for you and stick with it. Thats all I can say.

DE's efficacy for crawling insects is diminished when wet because intake is generally through the 'gills' of those insects or through dry contact. When taken internally by a bug it works, wet or not, but bugs don't eat DE by choice, they inhale it or crawl through it.
