Butterscotch is a 3 year old hybrid production mix. She seems sick. This week, aT first we saw a prolapsed vent - red pulsating bulge. bloody poop had alerted us to it. We carefully washed her poopy butt and soaked her in warm Epsom salt water, removing poo. Then we put neosprin and "Swat" a fly repellent around her vent. In a couple days she was much cleaner snd the vent seemed fine, no ptolapse. snd thr ve

What are you seeing? Worms around the vent? Perhaps maggots? If they are maggots, then you want to get rid of them asap.
