i think my chickens have worms. 3 have died back to back for apparently no reason. is it safe to eat the eggs? we have desided it is time to butcher. is it safe to eat the meat?

they are 10 month old americanas. the first 2 got really light. but this last one didnt. we have stopped selling eggs and we need to know if we can eat them.
If you are unsure about the cause of death, I would be weary of eating them.
