Worms!

I just went out to check on my 3wk old chicks.. There was 2 poops with pinkish red something in it..I picked it out and whatever it is it was kinda stringy.. Not sure if it's worms or something more serious.. Help!

I've not had any experience with coccidiosis, it's a parasite they can get. I'm not saying that's what it is! It will cause blood in their droppings and is fatal. Hopefully someone that knows will answer.I don't know what they are eating but the medicated starter helps prevent it from occuring but will not get rid of it. A product called Corid will treat it. The sooner you kow the better.
