It could be a food source. I had thought the dishwasher, which we rarely use, so ran it thru a cycle empty. But--we are doing some remodeling and my food stuffs are tucked away in strange place. You are right, it could be any of the not-often used grains. Thanks so much, I'll go straight home and start searching.
