Got results back from vet. Got a worm type parasite. What type dewormer should I get?

Depends on the type of worm. Didn't the vet tell you what it was? Didn't he prescribe anything? What gives?
I can't imagine his report said a "worm type parasite" The type of worm will dictate which wormer and how to administer.
It should have at least identified if they were flatworms or nematodes. or said tapeworm, fluke, capillary, cecal, crop worm, stomach worm, roundworms, eyeworm, gapeworm, etc..

Vet doesnt deal with chickens but never seen the parisite in dogs. Just said use a broad spectrum wormer

I would like a dewormer I could add to their water if possible

They did say it was not round or tape worms
Then that leaves capillary or cecal worms. Purchase Safeguard liquid goat wormer. Use a syringe without a needle to administer the wormer orally undiluted to each chicken. Dosage is 1/2cc orally for standard size chickens, 1/4cc for smaller chickens. Dose them once a day for 5 days straight. Toss eggs in the garbage for 2 weeks after the 5th day.

Ok I will pick some up. We're can I get a syringe that measures in cc? A have some from the vet that in ml.

Ok great thanks. Is safeguard something I can miss with water?

My chickens got worms and they started bleeding when they pooped. I got some corrid and problem solved.
