Worms!!

Her crop is full now from tuna. I don't think I'm at that point yet. She is eating and drinking on her own, she ate some fermented food when I opened the coop and some boss fodder at lunch. She was out with the other girls she just wasn't foraging. I brought her in to give her corid and some high protein food. I'll put her back out in the morning.

Good that she's eating and has a full crop. Look up capillary worms, E. coli intestinal infections and enteritis and see if any of the symptoms fit.

High protein feed just encourages enteritis, creating slower digestion and feeding bad bacteria, increasing its population at the same time, and will only make the problems worse. The condition of droppings may be due to the diet. Feed a well formulated feed, supplement Probios powder in waterers a few days a week with vitamins, electrolytes and the watery droppings may disappear, if it isn't coccidiosis/intestinal worms.

I weighed her tonight 2.93 so she's up 2 oz tonight from last night. She was outside all day with her friends but still sleepy. I noticed when I put her out this morning she had perked up. She's eaten scrambled egg tonight and wet layer pellets during the day. Poop is more formed but still wet. How much weight should she be gaining per day? I weigh her in the evenings after her snack. Last night she was 2 lbs 7.1 oz
