Worried about my chicken !

Thank you so much for all the replies !

About her being a "Rhode Island Red" you're right she looks a LOT more like a Black Sex Link, I just got her from a random batch of chicks at a school event and at the time she seemed closest to a Rhode Island Red so thank you for that.

I live in Northern California, while its going to start heating up a bit it hasn't here yet.
Do to a rocky situation currently (we're trying to fix it) I just allow her to free range on our lawn and a neighbors lawn, she normally roams around with a wild (yet very tame) rooster, he seems perfectly fine, and I bring her into the garage at night, and let her out in the mornings.
Due to her roaming around I have no idea when she's laid her last egg since she could've laid one somewhere outside. However one did pop up on the shelf about a week ago.
She has been making little weird noises in her sleep that I noticed one night, not sure if they're normal or not. I'll try to attach a link, as for her crop it feels normal if not a little squishy.

As for changes not many things, a hen she walks around with has had chicks if that's anything, I clean off her little shelf she roosts on every single night and refill her food and water. She eats and drinks perfectly fine.

Hello, I'm new here and somewhat new to raising chickens so sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section.
I have a two year old Road Island Red named Gretel, recently I've become a little worried when I saw that her wings are open and she breathes through her beak; She has access to water and it doesn't seem hot where I keep her at. She is a huge part of the family so we'd be heartbroken if anything happens to her.
Any ideas?
(p.s. sorry for the bad photo quality)

as for her crop it feels normal if not a little squishy.

Check her crop when she goes to bed (roosting) it should be full. Feel it again first thing in the morning before she eats/drinks it should be empty/flat. If she still has food in it in the morning or if you notice it feeling boggy, squishy, doughy or she has a sour smell to her breath, then treat her for crop issues (links below).

The sound she is making, to me, is from being disturbed in the dark.

If she is still having difficulty breathing and her crop is not causing problems, and you have ruled out molds, fumes from vehicles, cleaners, etc. then likely she has a respiratory illness. Infectious Bronchitis comes to mind with her stance, but there are several that can have very similar symptoms.

Vet care is always best. If symptoms worsen or if she becomes lethargic or stops eating/drinking she may benefit from antibiotic treatment.
