Worried about my hen, any advice?

Okay, I will see what I can do. I moved her inside, gave her warm water and electrolytes. I put some food in front of her, because she was picking at the hat. She dove into it. Maybe the other chickens were bullying her because she was week, and she couldn't' get to food? I also put some wet down cat food on top of her food for protein. She seems to enjoy that as well! I will jus move her cage out to the run during the day, and back in at night I think. I also made a little "bootie" and taped it to her bad foot. It was just a chunk of foam I had on hand, I am going to make the "bootie" better tomorrow. I though maybe it would giver her support on her bad foot. Thanks of all your help! I will see who she does as I nurture her forward. Thank you!
Is she getting picked on outside? If she's not, then personally I would not cage her outside. I would let her go where she wants and interact with the flock. If you think she's been kept from food, then add another station or two.
I'm not a fan of caging or removing a bird from the flock unless I feel it's absolutely necessary but use your best judgement.

I agree that I would let her go where she pleases. It is always good to have multiple feeders and waterers, and if I give treats, I make sure the lower pecking birds get some. You may need to work on your drainage in your run. Sand can be good, and you can possibly dig out some drainage ditches or try some other ways to guide the rain away from the run. Is the run covered? Some elecated boards or pallets might be helpful to keep them out of the mud.

Is she staying inside now? I'd keep her in and do what you've been doing. Plenty of nutritious feed and drink. How does her crop feel? Has she laid eggs? Check her vent is it dirty, is it a hole or a slit? She does look muddy. I may be tempted to give her a nice warm bath then blow dry her on the low setting.
Yes, I am definelty going to either bathe her, or wipe her down for sure. I can keep her inside, or bring her out which either one someone thinks is best. I heard it may be best to keep her with her friends to. She hasn't laid eggs in a while, I will check her crop and her vent. Thank you!

Got it. I will put mor food out and let her hang out with the lock. Should I bring her back into the shop at night, just so she doesn't get to cold?

Yes, I really want to work on a daring system. I am defiantly going to work on upgrading coops, and the run next spring, but anything I can do until then would be great. My run is not covered. The fencing we have as the run is not sturdy enough to support a roof or a snow load. I have always wished it was covered! I can definitely put pallets down. We have plenty of those. The snow keeps them out of the mud for now to, but I am going to see if I can put some hay down in areas, to give them some protection from the snow.

She seems pretty happy this morning! Ate all the food I had availed of her last night, I filled it up and she went at it again! I am going to let her finish eating first, and then I will clean her up, and put her back with the flock. I am going to put multiple food stations out, and a water station with electrolytes for her if she drinks from there. Thanks for all your help! I will give her molasses before I release her to. Thanks guys!

Is she active and is her poo normal? I wouldn't put her back with the flock yet. Give her molasses in water and see what happens first

She is cooing and walking around her little cage. She isn't super active because of her limp but she gets around. Her poop I haven't inspected quite yet, but it looks normal enough. I will give her some time and see how she does before putting her back out. Thank you!

No worries. It's just that if it is a disease that is infectious ya dont want your flock infected. Hope she is ok!
