Worried about my thermostat

I appologize if this question has been answered before but I couldn't find it. We build a homemade incubator using missprissy's example (thank you!) We use the same Lowe's water heater thermostat that a lot of people have used in their incubators. The temp fluctuates between 95 and 100. My question is - is this OK or do we have a defective thermostat? TIA

Yes, we do - a computer fan.

We just candled the dozen eggs we put in there and 6 of them look OK - I'm not sure about the rest. We put them in on Nov 4
